Published Again!

Fight, don't join, the terrorists
The Easton Express Times
Wednesday, March 31, 2010

The tea partiers are consciously trying to induce a public nervous breakdown.
Whether they are sending death threats to a congressman's 5-year-old son in Florida, violently throwing money at a man with Parkinson's disease on an Ohio sidewalk or maliciously shouting the "N" word at African-American representatives at an event in Washington, D.C., the effect is utterly terrifying.

The mass hysteria that is today's Tea Party shows that the majority of us have forgotten we are supposed to be fighting terrorists, not becoming them. Do they really think the end justify the means?

When are we the people going to realize that we are not crazy after all? When will we stand up to all of this bullying? We are not safe in public. We are not safe in our homes. What will the future of our country be like if no one risks stepping out and fighting back?

King Philip meets King Erik

Medieval Times is a Theme Restaurant in Lyndhurst, New Jersey - Not far from New York City

SPOILER WARNING!
The Red Knight was quite stuck up. I did not like him because he did not even raise his eyes to we poor peasants and barefoot nobles in the red section. He fought very well, beating the blue knight. But was bested by the "Invincible" white and black knight, who was then betrayed by the Green Knight.

I do not know if Medieval Times needs spoiler warnings.
I hope they don't do the exact same show every day. God bless them if they do.

The Red Knight kept his back to us the whole time.

If I were not a barefoot noble (i.e. a noble with a title, but no property), I would have purchase a bright glowing sword or something to swing around.

I dropped half of a chicken on the floor. Luckily, my neighbor was a vegetarian and gave me hers, so I had already had one. I did not go hungry. Others in my group complained that one piece of chicken, half a potato and tiny piece of corn on the cob left them hungry. That's not their public image. I always thought Medieval Times was a smorgasbord.

In any case, I had a good time.
Thank you to Easter Seals of Warren County for taking me there.

Friday Cat Blogging

The Princess of Funny Faces is Sick.

She hasn't been eating for over a month.

This is her on Wednesday. She was so bad yesterday I thought I was going to be putting her to sleep today. That's not going to happen today, but it might sometime next week. In the meantime, I am going to try some deworming medication.

My mind has been in a lot of pain over this.

How I Spent March 4, 2010

March 4th, 2010 - The Seventh Anniversary of my Father's Death

First I got into an argument with someone on the phone.

Then I met and talked with some friends and calmed down.

Then I got on my bike.

Then I had lunch at Mama's Pizza.

Then I rode up Schooley's Mountain. I had to walk up most of the way. But when I got to the top, I rested at the Schooley's Mountain General Store for a while.

Then I went to Rock Spring Park.

Then I sat on the Throne of Funny Faces.

I listened to a few songs on my iPod. One of them, I remember, was by the Talking Heads. I can't remember the name of the song.

Then I rode down the hill toward Palmer Park.

When I got to Palmer Park, it was closed.

Bummer.

I took this picture - I thought you would be able to see the flag, but I guess not:

I did not want to trespass. I took another picture, but I did not get close to my father's flag.

I never was able to just sit and rest like I wanted to but, I was able to wait for a song on my iPod to play all the way through.

The song?

Maybe you've heard of it:
